Surface Mount Technology(SMT)
Automatic streamlined Surface Mount placement equipment allows us to place the most advanced components packages from large BGA’s down to 01005 resistors & capacitors. Famous SAC305 solder paste, accurate stencil and automatic visual solder paste printer can ensure good printing and soldering performance.
Through Hole Technology(THT)
Although many components are soldered by Surface Mount Technology(SMT), Through Hole technology which can be achieved by wave soldering is commonly used for those pin-through hole (PTH) components which are inserted through holes drilled into printed circuit boards (PCBs).When it’s a sensitive component like special LCD, the soldering must be finished by manual handing.
BGA SOLDERING
Ball grid array (BGA) packages have arrays of solder ball connections instead of leads, the lack of visible leads and solder connections under the package presents challenges for soldering of BGAs. In this process, BGA is soldered on to the board surface by solder reflow, using a reflow oven. The X-ray inspection must be done to look through the solder joint underneath the components.
